Military and Public Service Leadership Course

This course is designed to review the unique leadership styles and methods of public service and military officers. It will examine a number of skills that are essential for military and public service leaders to drive success, protect people and assets, and make informed decisions that impact their organizations, communities, and nations. Students will explore the fundamentals of leadership and management, strategic planning and execution; the art and science of military and public service leadership; the importance of discipline, self-control, time management and emotional intelligence; ethics and cultural intelligence, security and intelligence, and international relations; crisis management and risk mitigation; people skills and engaging community; humanitarian actions, negotiation, peacebuilding and conflict resolution; and financial wisdom.
